Forget to Research the Company
One of the biggest mistakes applicants make is failing to research the company before they go into the interview. When an interviewer realizes you have not done your research, they will assume that you really aren’t as interested in the position as you say. In the end, they are looking for a candidate who is highly engaged and interested in both the company and the position in question.
Failing to Answer Clearly
When you are asked a question, you should be able to answer it clearly and effectively. Unfortunately, many candidates wind up rambling or filling in the silence with their voice so that they can avoid answering the question altogether. To the interviewer, this is highly suspicious and throws all your accomplishments into a negative light.
You should be honest about the work you did as well as your credentials when you are going through an interview. Not following this advice could land you in some really big trouble down the road, especially if the lie is discovered after you have been hired. Instead, always be honest, especially on your resume.
